A little more randomness

I think all of this Halloween candy is going to my head. I am sooooo craving chocolate, and I'm not even PMSing!

What the heck?!

Anyways... I just got my speech assignment for tomorrow. I have to deliver a speech of apologia. Basically, I have to pretend to be a "famous" person who got into a sticky situation and either apologize for what he/she did or defend it... as they would have done.

Kind of lame.

I would love to do something controversial and thought-provoking... the crucifixion of Christ... the martyrdom of Stephen... the conversion of Paul...

but... alas...

I don't feel I have the creative energy to give justice to any of these things. Perhaps I will pick an easy, less controversial person... Bill Clinton... OJ Simpson... hehe... Jessica Simpson for wearing that dog-awful piece of lingerie crap she called a dress. Tee hee. Yeah... that would be fun.

Here are some of the "topics" that students have already chosen...

1. Natalie Maines from Dixie Chics

2. George Bush on misinterpretation of the weapons of mass

3. Louis Farrakhan on his comments after hurricane katrina

4. mary kate olsen and her recent problems with anorexia/ rehab
destruction threat

5. Martha Stewart

6. Katelyn Faber (aka-Kobe Bryant's accuser)

7. the runaway bride

8. Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks in response to what she said about President Bush.

9. cindy sheehan-justification with her protests against
Bush and war in Iraq

10. Pete Rose, following the investigation into his gambling
on baseball.

11. Susan Smith

12. Paris Hilton for making the porno videos.

Okay... so... yeah... now I don't feel so badly about doing something shallow.

A girl at work just came in and said that I should be Mel Gibson in his defense of the Passion of the Christ. That's a good idea. A lot of people said it was too gruesome and unnecissarily gorry... but it's the real deal.

Hmmm... perhaps...

Then again... I could always do Lindsey Lohan and her apology for not letting Jessica and Ashley Simpson into her birthday party.

hehe... I can feel my bold creativity flying out the window...

Oh well.
