An email that no one should ever have to send:

Hey ya'll,

Last night was a difficult night for the T family, and I wanted to ask all of the Pastors to pray for us. B's parents (W and Bv) have been having some major marital problems that have come to a head in the last 4 weeks, resulting in a temporary separation and (according to W) leading to divorce.

Last night, B's mom attempted suicide by taking too many sleeping pills. Thanks to a questionable text she sent at the last minute and the prompting of the Holy Spirit, B and I (along with my mom and M&M) were able to break into her house and call 911 before the drugs had done too much damage. By 1:00 this morning, she was in stable condition and transported to a facility in L that has her under 24/7 surveillance as well as in constant contact with a counselor.

For obvious reasons, no one in the family wants this information to get "out," but we know that the NCWC Pastors will genuinely pray for our family, and so we wanted to email you to let you know what is going on.

Here are a few points for prayers:

1. Pray that Bv will feel and know the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord in this situation. Pray that she will allow the Lord to use this to begin a process of healing from a lifetime of being hurt by men.

2. Pray that W's heart will be turned back to the Lord and back to his family. Pray that the enemy will no longer be able to lie to W and cause him to feel defeated and hopeless in his marriage.

3. Pray that the Lord will comfort B and his sister Heather and give them the right words to say to their parents when the time comes. Both of them are in school and working. Please pray that the Lord will sustain them through all of this.

4. Please pray for me and my baby-on-the-way. The last 4 weeks have been filled with late-night "emergencies" and extremely stressful situations. Pray that the Lord will give me the energy to support my husband and his family, and pray that He will continue to protect the baby from any stress that my body is under.

Thanks all, for your prayers and support. We really appreciate it.
Love you all,
Brandy
