Things I learned from my first Shabby Chic project:
1. It's much easier to clean the dust off an item BEFORE it's painted.
2. Paint magnifies dust. Clean thoroughly.
3. More Kilz. Less paint.
4. Better to do 3-4 thin layers than one thick layer that drips.
Glad I found all that out before I started on the big table. Awesome.
