Lunch!!!!!!!

Bitter Bitter.

When did I get so moody?

My office manager really put me in a bad mood. *grrrrrrr*

So... we had an office meeting about 3 weeks ago about lunches. Well, first, they are cutting our breaks back from 15min. to 10min. Whatever. And, we can no longer "skip" breaks and add the time to our lunch. We HAVE to take 2-10min. breaks and a 1hour lunchbreak. Whatever. Finally, we are no longer supposed to bring lunch to our desks. GB told me, "ya know, like big sub sandwiches or whatever. Crackers and stuff are okay."

I would like to start out by saying...

1. I am a good worker.
2. I always get the job done - going above and beyond.
3. I get here before anybody else and often am the last one to leave.
4. Not only do I sell commercial insurance, also I fill in for personal lines on a daily basis, work as GB's "personal assistant, serve as the "IT specialist," and service ALL of our Latino clients (no matter what kind of insurance they need).
5. I am always the "yes" person - I do things, and deal with people, nobody else wants to deal with.
6. Unlike everybody else in this office, between work and school, I am "working" 48 hours a week (plus 5-6 hours of homework!)
7. I am always honest about the hours I work, and I have NEVER given them any reason not to trust me.

BUT....!!!!!

*grrrrrrr*

First, she yelled at me this morning because I had not turned in my time card. I don't even know when she needs them!!! She has never told me!!!! She says, "I'm going to have to bring my whip in to whip you into shape. I'm tired of having to remind you. I mean, don't you want a paycheck? Next time, if it's not on my desk by 9am, I'm just going to submit the hours without yours, and you can go without a check!"

The nerve!!!!! She has our pay period so VERY screwed up... how am I supposed to know when she wants our timecards??????? Plus, they have stuck me way in the back (granted the bigger) office; so I don't hear her when she tells the other girls. By the time she gets to me, she has already "reminded" the other girls several times. *hmph*

Second, I had errands to run on my lunch break today. I mean, I HAD to. I have no other time. And I'm leaving for TN for the weekend.

Plus, JS had to run errands on her break too. So she asked me to get her lunch on my way into the office.

Normally, I would grab lunch on the way OUT so that I can eat while I'm running the errands.

But... JS only gets 30min. lunch because she comes in late after dropping her daughter off at school; so I agree to pick up food for her on my way IN.

So I get here, take 5MINUTES!!!! to scarf down a burger and fries at my desk WHILE I AM RESPONDING TO EMAILS I GOT FROM CLIENTS.

No sooner do I open the first email, but you-know-who is at my door, "I shouldn't have to tell you that you are not supposed to eat lunch at your desk. You either have to take an extra 10 or 15 minutes to sit in the breakroom to eat, or you don't need to eat at all."

What the Heck???? Fine!!!! I would MUCH RATHER take an extra 10-15 minutes to eat, but at our last office meeting, YOU TOLD ME I COULDN'T!!!!!!! What the heck do you want me to do, your highness??????

*grrrrrrrrrr*

But... that's not all... oh no...

I go up to check my box about an hour later, and she has printed out the office email she sent everyone after our last meeting "reminding" us of the new rules. She HIGHLIGHTED the "Lunch" section that states we cannot eat at our desks.

!@##$$ !#@$!% !#$#^ @$%@%^@!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*deep breaths... deep breaths....*

All I can do it laugh, right? HA... ha.

It's just not funny... sorry.

I'm leaving early today. And if GB tries to stop me... so help me God... he'll regret it.

Wow... that sounded really evil. I really need to get out of this place.
