I espeeka Eeenglish
I'm sitting in my dining room, listening to my husband talk on the phone.
This is the second time in a row that he has called this particular number.
The third person he has talked to.
And he says the same thing each time:
"I am Amer-ee-caan. I espeeka EEEnglish. I need to espeeka with..."
And I realize that, in not so many months from now, this will be a regular conversation in our home.
